Asian-style teriyaki- blackened salmon
This recipe is our go-to, no-fail recipe for salmon.
It’s so easy yet impressive and delicious.
6 salmon fillets
⅓ cup teriyaki sauce
1 tsp. fresh ginger
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. sesame oil
Salt and pepper
1 sliced scallion
2 tbsp. chopped cilantro.
Place all of the marinate ingredients (except for the scallion and cilantro) in a ziplock bag. Mix in the bag and add the fish.
Marinate for 15 minutes or longer if you have more time.
Heat a wide skillet and pour in it the marinate liquid. Add the Salomon.
Cook uncovered on high heat. Make sure it doesn’t burn. The fish needs to be very brown and a bit crispy. Cook 4 minutes on each side.
If there’s a need, add some more teriyaki sauce and a bit of oil.
Garnish with cilantro and scallion and serve plain white rice.
