Mock-fried cauliflower with mint tahini dressing
1 cauliflower, cut into florets
2 eggs, beaten
3 tbsp. Olive oil
1 tbsp. salt
3/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Garlic powder
Flour
Cook the cauliflower in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain.
Mix the eggs with the oil.
Season the cauliflower with garlic, pepper and salt.
Dip each floret in the eggs and then in the flour. Shake and Set in a baking pan.
Bake for 25 minutes (400 degrees) till crispy and brown. Serve with the tahini sauce
Tahini sauce:
¼ c. tahini paste
1 tbsp. Lemon juice
¼ c water
1 tsp. Dry or fresh mint
1 tsp. Salt
Mix all of the ingredients well. The consistency should be of yogurt.
