Mock-fried cauliflower with mint tahini dressing

  • 1 cauliflower, cut into florets

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 3 tbsp. Olive oil

  • 1 tbsp. salt

  • 3/4 tsp. pepper

  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder

  • Flour

    Cook the cauliflower in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain.

  1. Mix the eggs with the oil.

  2. Season the cauliflower with garlic, pepper and salt.

  3. Dip each floret in the eggs and then in the flour. Shake and Set in a baking pan.

  4. Bake for 25 minutes (400 degrees) till crispy and brown. Serve with the tahini sauce

Tahini sauce:

  • ¼ c. tahini paste

  • 1 tbsp. Lemon juice

  • ¼ c water

  • 1 tsp. Dry or fresh mint

  • 1 tsp. Salt 

    Mix all of the ingredients well. The consistency should be of yogurt.
