GF orange and chocolate crinkle cookies

  • 200 gr dark chocolate 

  • 3 tbsp. butter

  • 2 eggs

  • Orange zest from 1 orange 

  • ¼ cup ground walnuts 

  • 1 tsp. baking powder 

  • ½ cup ground almonds (not almond meal)

  • ½ cup potato starch 

  • 2-3 tbsp. orange juice 

For rolling:

  • Regular sugar

  • Powdered sugar 

  1. Preheat the oven (370°)

  2. Melt the chocolate with the butter. Transfer to a bowl. 

  3. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix. 

  4. Let the dough rest for st least 5 hours. Refrigerate. 

  5. Form small balls. Roll each ball first in the regular sugar and them in the powdered sugar. 

  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Don’t overbake as they need to be a bit gooey in the center.
