Tziporah’s Peanut Crescent Cookies
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
¼ cup water
200 gram butter, margarine (I use a relatively healthy substitute, “Smart Balance” spread)
1 cup ground peanuts, roasted and unsalted
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
¼ cup sugar
Powdered sugar for dusting
Heat the oven (370°)
Using a mixer, mix all of the ingredients till a dough forms.
Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
Divide the dough into very small balls and shape into crescents. Place in a lined baking tray.
Bake for 35 minutes till the cookies turn brown but not burned. .
Let them cool off and powder with powdered sugar.
Store in an airtight container.
