Moroccan green Swiss chard Salad
There are some flavors you grow up with but you don’t grow to appreciate them As a child I was a picky eater and really wished my mom had made more “junk food”
My mom cooked so many vegetable dishes that I just didn’t like
when I grew older, I learned to appreciate the healthy and flavorful foods Among them is the salad below:
1 big bunch of Swiss chard, washed and chopped
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 tbsp paprika,
2 tbsp tomatoes paste
4 tbsp oil
Salt
3 tbsp lemon juice
1/3 c water
1 tsp cumin
1. In a skillet, “fry” the Swiss chard without adding the oil yet, for 4 minutes.
Add the oil and cook for 5 minutes, till it gets wilted.
Add the rest of the ingredients and continue cooking for 10 more minutes.
