“Gozleme”- Turkish pan-fried flatbread

  • 1 c all purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup + 1 tbsp. Plain yogurt

  • 1 flat tsp salt 

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a mixer for 5 minutes. 

  2. Let it rest for 5 minutes. Divide into 8 balls. 

  3. Roll each ball out on a floured surface as thinly as possible. 

  4. Put the filling (some ideas below) on one half of the dough. Bring the second half on the filling and close. 

  5. Brush the top with some olive oil. 

  6. Spray the pan with some olive oil spray. 

  7. Fry on a very hot pan on both sides. 

Fillings: feta cheese and scallions / pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella / spinach, cheese and olives.
